Open Submissions for the 2014 Compilation!
Thanks to each and every one of our wonderful donors, Biamp Systems’ very generous matching donation of $5,000, and Stumptown Coffee Roasters for their $500 prize for the most individual donors 35 and under in our category, we are pleased to announce that PDX Pop Now! made a total of $14,157 through Willamette Week Give!Guide.
Thanks to all of you we will be kicking off another year of in-school educational programs, and our annual three day, free and all ages festival this July. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!
Whether you’ve attended one of our free, three-day summer festivals, benefited from one of our student outreach events or discovered a new favorite band from our annual compilation CD, there are many reasons to love PDX Pop Now!
Now it’s time to show that love! We have once again been selected from among hundreds of nonprofits to be part of Willamette Week’s Give!Guide campaign. Please consider making a donation to PDX Pop Now! through Give!Guide to help support our all-ages, free festival, local-music compilation, and schools outreach program. The minimum gift is only $10 and you’ll receive a postcard loaded with coupons good for discounts and free items all over town. Additionally, we have a number of amazing incentives this year as a way to thank you for your donation. Click here now to make your donation.
Giving to PDX Pop Now! makes music accessible to all people. It means free, all-ages summer music festivals. It means that hundreds of school children without music programming can experience a full day of workshops and live performances. It means annual compilation CDs and other platforms for local performers to share their talent. So give today and help us continue this good work tomorrow.
And a very special thanks to our amazing partner Biamp Systems for their generous $5,000 matching donation for this year’s campaign!

The PDX Pop Now! Annual Compilation has been serving as a snapshot of the current and up and coming Portland music since 2004.
We will be releasing our 10th annual PDX Pop Now! Compilation this June to a larger audience than ever before. As national recognition for Portland music increases, we feel that it is our responsibility to represent our city in the best way possible.
2013 will mark the year of our first ever Digital Compilation to be sold online. We will still be producing our traditional, locally designed and manufactured CD compilations, and distributing them at our festival and events, as well as to local record stores. Physical copies will also be available in select record stores in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Philadelphia, and New York, and distributed to over 300 college radio stations in the United States and Canada.
Join us in celebrating our 10th birthday, and help us represent our wonderful city!
