Support Music In The Schools on June 11
One of Portland’s most inspiring events is back, and it deserves all of our support. Music In The Schools – an organization founded and run by high school students from across Portland – is presenting their third annual benefit concert on Thursday, June 11. The funds raised will go to Portland Public Schools music programs. This is a hat trick, folks; by coming to the show you are supporting music education, local music, and youth action. Oh, and did we mention who is playing? Some big name Portlanders, and some rising, young local high school bands. Have a look:
