Open Submissions for the 2014 Compilation!
The PPN! Team is jumping right back into planning this year’s events and the 2014 Festival. We are excited to announce new volunteer opportunities! As an entirely volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit, it takes a lot of effort from many people to put together a festival (plus all the outreach, benefit shows and other events) such as this every year. It’s amazing what can happen when we put all of our efforts together!
Each of these positions are very important to our mission and most include year round commitment. Please email a resume and cover letter expressing your interest in working with PDX Pop Now! directly to Beth.Martin@pdxpopnow.com.
If you’d like to help us curate our 11th annual music compilation, head over HERE and let us know a little about yourself. We need 100 listeners to make sure the process is fair, so tell all your friends! We will let you know if you’re on the committee by March, so please make sure to leave up-to-date contact information!
PDX Pop Now! will put on an in-school event at Park Rose Elementary on May 29, 2014. We need enthusiastic and flexible volunteers that are available for most of the day. There are many different aspects of this event that will need volunteer assistance; from working with students, assisting teaches, to setting up workshops. This is a great event to see PPN! in action!
As part of the Development Department, the primary responsibility of this position is to raise organizational funds through the annual Willamette Week’s Give!Guide fundraising campaign and organize our annual fundraising event, Make It Pop! Other responsibilities include promotions, donation tracking, event planning, donor appreciation and disbursement of receipts and incentives.
Works directly with the current Logistics Coordinator, Lauren Joyner. This positions will mainly assist with festival logistics needs: booking food carts, coordinating an activity center, working with street fair vendors, etc.
Works directly with the current Logistics Coordinator, Lauren Joyner, and current Stage Manager, Justin Cate. This job mainly assists with advancing bands the month before the festival, as well as managing the stages during the festival weekend. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you! Please let Beth.Martin@pdxpopnow.com know if you have any questions about any of the roles or requirements. Thanks all!
